What sort of production do I need to successfully capture my event?

This depends on a couple of points.

What is the purpose of your video?
Is the video to be used as for documenting purposes, promotional purposes, just for keepsakes to remember your event, or a real time video of the event from start to finish?
These points will help us determine the crew and equipment we will need to get the right coverage.

It is not necessary to bring in six cameras to film a private function, if the purpose is just to capture some highlights as a keepsake. Nor would it be suitable to film a 2 hour event with one camera and expect your audience to remain awake by the end of your final act.
